SURPRISE SUNDAY = SOLD OUTTTT 😭🍪💕

You guys seriously never stop amazing me 🥹 We opened her up for a little surprise pop-up today and you absolutely CLEARED. HER. OUT. 😭😂🤍

Thank you thank you THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by this weekend, grabbed some Mungas, showed us love, shared our posts, left sweet comments… all of it. I’m so unbelievably grateful for this little cookie community we’re building 🥹🍪💕

Nowwww I’m off to recover… and then make an unreasonable amount of cookie dough 😂🫡

UPDATE: he is officially no longer the villain of our origin story He came back this morning and paid for the cookies, which I genuinely appreciate. 🥹🤍 😂🍪🤍

But I also just want to address one thing I keep seeing in the comments:

Because… he never asked me.

This is a self-serve stand. I’m VERY active online, my messages are always open, and if someone reached out and said, “Hey, I’d really love to try your cookies but I genuinely can’t afford them right now,” I would GLADLY give them cookies. Seriously. 🤍

If someone is in such a tough spot that they feel like stealing two cookies is their only option, I have compassion for that too. I would much rather someone just ask me.

But I can’t know someone needs help if they don’t ask, and there still has to be a difference between asking for help and simply taking something without paying.

I didn’t post this because two cookies are going to make or break my business. I posted it because this stand runs entirely on TRUST. If I see something like this happen and just pretend it didn’t, where does that line end?

99.9% of the people who visit this stand are AMAZING, honest and supportive, and that’s exactly what I want to protect. 🥹🤍

So yes — if you’re genuinely struggling, ASK ME. I will always choose kindness when I can.

But kindness and boundaries can exist at the same time. 🤍🍪And with that being said… I’m happy we get to end this little story on a good note. 🥹🤍

What hurts is that if you truly couldn’t afford them but wanted or needed something to eat, I would have GLADLY given you the cookies. No questions asked. 🤍 I’ve given cookies away before and I’ll happily do it again.

I’m a stay-at-home mama of two little boys, staying up way too late baking, restocking all day, and pouring everything I have into building this little business and a future for our family. So watching someone pretend to put money in the box and walk away with something I worked hard to make definitely stung.

But I’m not posting this to find him. I’m not asking anyone to identify him. I don’t want anyone contacting him, and I’m not looking for justice over two cookies.

I’m posting it because this stand requires TRUST — and I don’t want something this special to ever get ruined because people start taking advantage of it.

So we learned a little lesson tonight. 🤍 I’ve been pretty lenient about leaving her open past closing when people are still stopping by, but going forward 7PM will mean 7PM. We’ll tighten things up a little and keep moving.

Because for every ONE person who does something like this, there have been hundreds of you who have been unbelievably honest, kind, generous and supportive of this little stand.

And THAT is the community I’m choosing to focus on. 🥹🍪🤍

One bad apple doesn’t get to ruin something this good.

I still trust my Cookie Monsters. 🤍

Closing down the stand for the night and I genuinely don’t even know what to sayyyy. You guys SHOWED UP today. 😭 We restocked as much as we possibly could, I made DOUBLE the amount of dough prepping for this weekend… and somehow I’m headed right back into the kitchen tonight to make MORE for tomorrow. 😂😭🍪

I hope every single person who stopped at the stand today enjoyed their cookies, and I REALLY hope you guys are loving all the new fall flavors!!! 🍁🍂🤎
