i've already gained two pounds during this state fair... and I haven't even made it to the fair yet! 😂

we are still planning to be at the Valley Junction Farmers Market, Des Moines' Downtown Farmers' Market, and the Indianola Farmers Market next week!

🍞🍞🍞if any of you were wondering whether rehydrating our sourdough starter is difficult:
This is after only 2 1/2 days and three feeds and Doughlene is already coming back to life and looking very happy

Our sourdough starter makes an excellent gift for any baker and it's a great way to have an insurance policy in case you accidentally throw away yours lol

We will be resting this week as we reactivate our sourdough starter. Doughlene got tossed accidentally on friday and we're waking her up as we speak!

If you are more south today, You will also find us at the Indianola Farmer Market at the Warren County Fairgrounds off Highway 92
