I am a stay-at home mom opening a farmstand on the far eastside of Indianapolis, IN.

I will be sell homemade breads, cookies, and cinnamon rolls, as well as home grown produce and flowers.

The garden is in full swing and producing a lot. I have massive tomatoes waiting for the next hot day to ripen. For those that are interested in green tomatoes, I do have some that are a good size for frying. They are available upon request. Cherry tomatoes are loaded. I had to do extra tie backs to keep them upright because there is so much fruit on the vines. The zucchini has slowed down production but a few good waterings and they should be in high production again. New to the stand this week are tomatillos. They are good for making salsas and sauces. As always I have my baked goods. I have my zucchini muffins made from zucchini fresh from the garden. Jalapeno bread has been a fan favorite. I also have some butter pecan cinnamon rolls. They will be new to next months menu. This Sunday will be the last weekend for my Blueberry Lemon Rolls. Hurry down if you have been wanting to try them before the recipe is put up until next blueberry season. I will be open today Friday July 24 until 2pm. I will be open again on Sunday July 26th. And some exciting new for those that have children that go to Stonybrook Middle school, I will have a table set up at the Back to School Night Tuesday July 28th from 5:30pm-7pm. I was out early this morning digging around in the garden picking fresh produce for the stand. Do you ever get covered in yellow stains from your tomato plants. Lol. I think it is my new fashion trend, being covered in tomato stains. New from the garden today, we have a few jalapenos. Once the large tomatoes are ready we will have the makings of good salsa. I do have cherry tomatoes, zucchini, and cucumbers available today. Looking for something a little less healthy, I got plenty of sweet things to satisfy your sweet cravings. Zucchini mini loaves and frosted zucchini muffins made from zucchini out of the garden. Also from the garden, I have slicing cucumbers and zucchini. If you are interested in green tomatoes, I do have them upon request. I am not going to cut them unless someone is interested. I am trying to let some ripen. I love tomatoes for blts. My Blueberry Lemon Rolls only have this weekend and next before they will be shelved until next blueberry season. If you have been wanting to try them your time is running out. I have three types of bread available today, Jalapeno Cheddar (a crowd pleasure), Everything Cheesy Dill, and Japanese Milk bread. I will be open until 2pm Friday and Sunday. Fresh from the garden today...... I finally have lemon cucumbers ready to eat. I have never grown these before so it is exciting to have some ready. I have two slicing cucumbers and quite a few pickling cucumbers. The zucchini has gone crazy and I have it coming out of my ears. I will be selling a lot of zucchini bread and frosted muffins in the coming weeks. I have three green tomatoes left. My tomatoes plants are as tall as I am now. The sunflower in the picture is at least 6 1/2 ft tall before the rain bent it over and my tomato is almost as tall as it. I baked 4 different types of sweet rolls this week. I have cinnamon, orange cinnamon, blueberry lemon, and butter pecan. I do have a few loaves of bread left from Friday I will be selling $2 off listed price. I have some new items to try on the menu, oatmeal sandwich cookie and buttered pecan cinnamon rolls. I also have my original menu options. From the garden I have zucchinis, green tomatoes, and slicing cucumbers as well as flower bouquets. I will be open today until 2pm. 2196 N Mitthoefer Rd.

For those of you that are new to my sight, thank you for following and showing an interest in what I have to offer. I have just recently started my business in May. I am learning a lot and trying to see what everyone is interested in. I started this venture to help support my gardening addiction and to give me an excuse to grow more things. Also I have been a stay at home mom for almost 13 years. This is my first excursion out into the world of business so I am taking it slow. I hope that all the things I have learned in the past 13 years can become useful to the people in my community. Thank you again for those that have come out to support my business! 💖
