Officially accepting “World Cup party cupcakes” as a category of order now ⚽️🔥

These funfetti cupcakes were for my nephew’s 12th birthday, and honestly they ended up way cooler than I originally pictured in my head.

The buttercream soccer balls?
“Tuff.” — direct quote from the birthday boy himself.

I’m not saying every soccer watch party needs custom cupcakes… but I’m also not *not* saying that 👀

One of my favorite parts of running a home bakery is that it actually feels like a home 💛

There’s usually a toddler talking somewhere in the background, an old dog wandering around, boxes stacked on my counters, and handwritten thank you notes getting tucked into orders late at night.

It’s not a giant commercial kitchen with a perfectly polished assembly line. It’s personal, a little chaotic sometimes, and built with a whole lot of care.

And honestly, I think that’s part of what makes small businesses special!

I’ve been having a lot of fun playing with cake fillings lately 👀

This graduation cake for Rhi was a funfetti cake filled with birthday cake crumbs and vanilla buttercream, and I love how much fillings can completely change the experience of a cake without changing the outside design at all.

Sometimes it’s fruit, sometimes it’s cookie crumbs, sometimes it’s caramel or curds or chocolate ganache… and sometimes it’s just an excuse for me to make something extra fun on the inside 😅
