There will be good grub at our house this week and I still have a few things left over from last week. You can seriously do all of your shopping at Huntsville Food & Farm Hub!! And the best part is it's all local! You are supporting local farms and farmers with every single purchase.

The ordering window for pickup next Tuesday starts at midnight tomorrow night. Set an alarm, put it in your calendar, or like me make a sticky note on the fridge. Whatever you have to do, take the time to check it out. You won't be sorry that you did.

Join us for our next sourdough classs at on June 27th! 🍞

May always feels like such a busy month. Every time I look at my calendar, it’s another party, ceremony, or banquet I’ve almost forgotten 😅 If that’s you, we’ve almost made it to the finish line! Summer is upon us, so let’s plan some things to do with friends. A sourdough class is a great way to start 😉

You know the drill- you’ll get your own starter, a guide, a discount to shop at , and some sourdough samples. We’ll have refreshments during class. It’s the relaxing (and fun) type of Saturday you’ll want after you make it through the crazy month of May. It’s like a reward 🤭

Here comes Memorial Day (but make it locally delicious 🍔)

ordering is now OPEN! This is your week to stock up on all your favorite items for Memorial Day. All of our buns are freezer friendly. I’ll be adding instructions to our labels on how to freeze and thaw them 🌭

is stocked with all of your favorite cook out items, from pickles to hot dogs. They’ve seriously got it all. You can get all of your grilling necessities in ONE place 🥩

They even took it a step further and compiled a few burger ideas to spice up your holiday. My personal favorite, The Callaway, includes the following:

I didn’t know how strong love could feel until I sat in the NICU holding a 4 pound baby in December of 2020. I remember staring into Kit’s sweet eyes and seeing the whole wide world for the first time. My heart felt that immense weight all over again in July of 2023 when a beautiful baby boy was laid on my chest. Charlie showed me how love can multiply and grow beyond my wildest imagination. Before I am anything else, I am a mom to these two miracles. Life became so beautiful when my two favorite gentlemen came earth side 🤍

No matter what my career may do, baking or in the mortgage industry, this is the most important work I’ll ever have. These two boys. Every day is filled with joy, learning, gratitude, and an unbelievable amount of giggling now that I’m a mom. Thank God for this blessing.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you lovely moms 🌷 I’m amazed at how many wonderful moms I get to have in my life. My grandmother, my mother-in-law, mentors, friends, and more than I could ever list here have all shown me what motherhood means. My heart swells every time I realize how many good moms I have in my circle. Thank you for being here 🤍

One day you’re an anxious little girl that wonders if you’ll ever celebrate Mother’s Day, and the next you’re all grown up and celebrating close to 80 moms through your microbakery. A day that was once filled with heartache and loneliness is now filled to the brim with gratitude.

If you would’ve told the little version of me that we’d be here today, she’d be over the moon. Thank you for another beautiful Mother’s Day, Huntsville. Callaway Bakehouse had 4 pick up locations and a handful of special deliveries this morning. I can’t believe I get to do this now. What a blessing 💌

Mother’s Day is practically here. What did you get for the mom in your life? 💐

I had a couple of DMs asking if we had something digital to send for someone receiving a ticket to our next class as a Mother’s Day present. We do! If you send me a DM with the recipient’s email, I’ll send them a graphic with all the details. If you’d rather send it yourself on the official day, I can send it directly to you 💌

I love the idea of gifting an experience for Mother’s Day (someone mention this to Mr. Callaway Bakehouse 😉)

When I look back at how I dove into sourdough without a class or much guidance, I realize how much time and flour I wasted. The whole process was SO discouraging. I gave up multiple times. That’s part of why I do these silly little classes. I’d much rather give someone the tools and confidence they need to do it themselves instead of making it seem like I’m doing something extravagant or challenging. If I can do it, anyone can 🤍
