Good afternoon! I wanted to give a huge thank you to everyone who came to see us today at the market. We were to have had a porch market with the leftovers but fortunately for us you all showed up in a HUGE way and while we made lots of extra food we are ecstatic to report we mostly sold out!

We had 4 double chocolate cookies (I’ve already eaten 3 of them 😂 and 2 cinnamon crunch pretzels which the little boy next door has already claimed so basically nothing to put out on the market! 🤩

So that’s a wrap for this week. We have several menus dropping for next week in the next day or 2 and we will see you all on here Tuesday or so. Have a blessed weekend and thank you again for the most amazing market we have had since starting the Barr Street Market back in July!

We will have a market tomorrow after we get back from the morning market so everytbing will be out around 3:30or so.

Good morning and Happy Friday! Whose ready for an exciting farmers market and beautiful weather tomorrow morning?! Being at markets with everyone visit us is one of my favorite parts of the bakery.

Check out the menu — the black raspberry cobbler cake is back by request but it only makes a few pieces so be sure to get there early!

We’ll have lots of soft pretzels and even some new ones that we didn’t know are apparently a thing in Germany! Butterbrezn (pretzel butter sandwich! 😋) and then we will also have bacon cheddar pretzels 🥨.

You can find us at the corner of Berry and Barr Street in front of the history center from 9-1. We’re across from the Kanela Coffee truck and in between the Simple Nature tent (think awesome smelling candles, wax melts and more) and some beautiful, hand-turned wooden bowls, vases and other wood products from Hillary at Hontz Farms. See you there!

*** UPDATED 5:27PM Honor system Porch Market is open for Thursday 10/8 at 16003 Lima Road until 8pm. We have lots left from tomorrow that is still in excellent shape so we didn’t make much more.

Sourdough half loaves are $1 off (already changed on the sticker) and soft pretzels from yesterday are marked to $1 and we will be putting some fresh ones out for $4. Here is what we have:

4 harvest multigrain with pumpkin and pepitas $5
4 oatmeal maple pecan sourdough $5
4 super soft fluffy artisan sourdough $3

Good morning! Thank you everyone who has commented on our pie survey 🙂 and who stopped by or reached out yesterday❤️.

It’s not too late to add your requests btw (it doesn’t even have to be pie …it can be any dessert) and we look forward to making everyone’s pie dreams come true in the very near future as we continue to offer specials and new items!

We will have our honor system porch market open again today from noon until 8pm at 16003 Lima Road (more details later in a separate post).

The menu for Saturday at the Barr Street market will drop today and our permanent ordering menu with our core staple items like pretzels, sourdough and cinnamon rolls will be shared sometime tomorrow or Saturday (hopefully) and pinned at the top of our page.

So in other words lots of exciting things are coming! And don’t forget you can reserve or order by email or text. 719-930-0190 or [email protected].

Just send the order name, order details and a good pickup date/time along with any questions, comments (or even prayer requests🙏🏻✝️) you may have.

Hello everyone! Wanted to take a super quick poll concerning pie flavors 🙂. Since we’ll be offering more flavors of pie slices from here on out — especially as we head toward the holiday season …aka peak pie 🥧 time — what are some flavors you all would like to see? We would love all the feedback we can get so don’t hesitate to drop your favorite flavor/flavors in the comments.

Also, don’t forget we have homemade coconut cream pie slices still! We will be offering it tomorrow as well (if there is any left 😂).

The porch market will be open until 8:30/9 or so but we will be all over the place after 6 so be sure to order your pie slices for pickup before then as they have to be kept refrigerated until pickup.

And now for the one I’m most excited about: coconut cream pie with Oma’s amazing super flaky tender homemade pie crust and rich coconut custard filling. The pie slice containers we ordered are too small so we are selling smaller slices for $3. We have 9 pieces of them. Just message [email protected] or 719-930-0190 with order name, how many pieces and a pickup time so we can run it out to you when you get here. You can also reserve any of the items and also soft pretzels we will bake at 3.

We’re at 16003 Lima road and it is an honor system market. We’re open now until 8 or sold out.
