We’ve been overwhelmed with love and encouragement since sharing the news that Bake My Day is closing. Your kind words have meant the world to us. 💛

We’ve created a space for you to leave a message, share a favorite memory, or simply say thank you to Gregg, Kim, and the amazing staff who have poured so much heart into this little corner cafe.

For the past eleven years, we’ve been abundantly blessed to walk beside this community from our little cafe on the corner of Evans and Plaza. In that time, we’ve met incredible people, partnered with passionate organizations, and witnessed God’s goodness again and again.

For the past eleven years, we’ve been abundantly blessed to walk beside this community from our little cafe on the corner of Evans and Plaza. In that time, we’ve met incredible people, partnered with passionate organizations, and witnessed God’s goodness again and again.

We believe every person is handcrafted by God, and it’s been a joy to see the beauty of His handiwork in the faces of our customers.

Now, our season is changing. While it’s not the path we had planned, we trust that God is leading us forward. Our final day at Bake My Day will be Monday, the 30th.

Goodbyes are never easy, but if you’re able, we’d love for you to stop by and share one last meal with us. And please lift up our amazing staff in prayer as they step into their next chapter.

💛 Our June Non-Profit of the Month is Gabby’s Legacy Organization (GLO)—founded in memory of Gabriella "Gabby" Iduh to support pediatric cancer patients and their families through some of the hardest days of their lives.

Gabby began her cancer journey at just eight years old. Though she passed away in 2019, her strength, creativity, and compassion continue to inspire the mission of GLO: to provide emotional, financial, and practical support to families facing childhood cancer right here in Eastern NC.

The reality:
• 1 in 4 families lose over 40% of their income due to treatment-related work disruptions
• 1 in 3 parents must quit or change jobs to care for their child
• 1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer are already living in poverty

Let’s come together to make a difference.
