On October 30th, Facebook is changing its rules for business pages to allow their AI bots to start scraping not only the page, but ALL websites and links shared on that page, as well as all images on those pages and linked websites. What does this mean to artists? Facebook plans to steal the work of every artist who has a Facebook business page. Right now, there is no way to opt out as a result of zero regulations of AI. The only way is to shut down our business pages and stop sharing our work with fans on Facebook.

(Tests are also being done to limit business pages to two external website links per month. If we want to share more? $50/month)

If anyone knows of a solution to the AI scraping, please comment. I’m nervous about potentially taking down all posts, or poisoning photos I upload here so they cannot be used after scraping 💙🫂
