I am so happy that you are here, I began as a cottage home baker in Michigan in 2017 after retiring from being a paramedic for many years. I have always enjoyed cooking and baking for my family, and one day i decided to start decorating some sugar c

ookies and realized that while I was creating, my mind was clear of all the things that it had been trying so hard to forget. With the support and encouragement of my husband, kids, and co-workers, Mama Jen's was born. I have had the nickname Mama Jen for quite some time from my friends and then co-workers who always came to me with their problems or needed some encouragement, and always called me Mama Jen because they said I was always taking people under my wing. I put that same amount of love into everything I do and I get true joy whenever someone tells me how much they enjoyed what I have made them. I can make just about anything. I love to make breads, pies, cakes, cookies, candy, you name it. I am always up for anything, just have to ask. I look forward to growing with the Michiana community and getting to know and serve you all.

Sadly, my pain levels have increased tremendously (especially in the middle of my back, which was giving me the biggest amount of pain) so I don’t know if I’ll be offering anything this weekend.
If I do, it will probably be mini Bundts.

I did not order from the Peach Truck this year, I decided to go with local peaches this year (if the neck and back allow). I didn’t figure anyone would mind!

I’m not going to be offering pies this weekend, sadly. Definitely felt it after I was done last weekend, and I’ve been super busy the last couple days, so I need to actually listen to my body and take the weekend off. Good chance I will next weekend though. I need another of those strawberry rhubarb pies! 🥧

Felt good to make a couple pies today. I truly have the best customer base in the world and appreciate those of you that have been patient and understanding with me as I have went through this process with my back and neck.
