Biscuits and gravy like your mawmaw used to make, but like, with flavor and a cheeseburger stuffed inside for some reason🙃

Biscuit and gravy smashes on special at both locations starting at 4pm tomorrow! Double signature smash patties with American cheese, smothered in sausage gravy, smidge of hot sauce and a fried egg on a buttered biscuit. Fork and knife likely required.

Just realized it’s been awhile since I made an update. I wish I had a positive one, but I don’t. 😞
Neck is doing ok but going back to work really set me back, I still have the excruciating pain in the middle of my back and I’m going through another set of injections in my Sacroiliac joints, which could quite possibly lead to my si joints being fused.

The long drives to work and sitting on the stool just make me miserable, and hubby and I (and the doctors) are thinking that filing for SSDI may be the option I need to do because at 53 and my only experience being in depth patient care/health care, and I can’t even bake a lot, there’s no job out there I can do without being in pain.

I can do a pie here and there but I can barely clean the house, or do the things I love most.

My daughter may be taking over the reigns of Mama Jen’s, to keep it going because she is turning into a fabulous baker.

If you need something special, please let me know, I can do some things but just not a lot at once.

It’s so incredibly frustrating but I’ll be ok in the end. I’ll still be here, but it just might be time for Mama Jen Jr. to shine.

I see my spine surgeon and my pain management doctor next week, so we will see what’s happening from there.

Back to school is upon us and Mama Jen’s and my small little local group The Michiana Collective would like to help ease some parents minds and do a backpack and school supply drive.

I’m wondering if there are other small businesses that would like to join in and make this better than ever!

I would like to help out the Goshen/Concord area schools since other drives I have seen don’t seem to help them.
