Made a yummy gluten-free lemon bundt cake for a special dinner last night. Met with unanimous approval, and doesn't really give a gluten free vibe. Message me if you want to give it a try! Would be a great birthday cake. The cake has a "pound cake" texture, with a light glaze which keeps the cake nice and moist, and a lemony icing drizzled over the top.

Today's production: Five dozen potato rolls, one cherry pie, three apple pies, and one small apple crisp with the leftover apples. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow, everyone! I am grateful you included me in making it enjoyable!

The latest batch of Zwiebach..a Russian Mennonite dinner roll that I grew up having at holidays, after my mother's tradition. Pillowy soft! If you want to try them, head to the website and place your order. $12 a dozen. Not available between Nov 24-27 as the baking calendar is full. But they freeze well, and just reheat in the oven before your dinner!

I'll be setting up at the Goshen Farmers Market tomorrow (Tuesday, June 17) from 3-6 pm. Will have the following: Garlic Naan, Bagels, Oatmeal Flax Bread, Dutch Oven Bread, Monster Cookies, Brownies (with Zucchini), Buttermilk Coffee Cake, Rhubarb Streusel Muffins, and Scones of some sort. Suggestions? Hope to see you there!

Sorry...I needed to cancel my plans for Market on May 27th. Will be making some Tuesday appearances at the Goshen Farmers Market this summer. Not a regular schedule, Stay tuned for future dates. I will have Oatmeal Flax Bread, Dutch Oven bread, Garlic Naan, Granola, and at least one variety of scone. If you have a favorite, or a category you'd like to see offered like cookies, bagels, sticky buns, gluten-free etc please feel free to comment and I'll see it I can work it in!

UPDATE: Both loaves are now spoken for. But, can always make more! I have two loaves of Oatmeal Flax Bread for sale for $8 each. Baked this afternoon! Pick up today or tomorrow at the bakery (the Orchard subdivision).

Want an extra special pastry for your holiday breakfast? How about a copycat "butter braid"? Available in raspberry, blueberry, or peach if you order 2 days in advance of when you need it. $10 each, and feeds 6 - 10 depending on how big of a piece you want!

Next Tuesday would have normally been my Goshen Farmers Market day, but I will not be there the rest of the year at this point. Have just returned from 8 days of cooking for 12-16 hours per day in North Carolina for a group of relief workers, and I am pooped! I will still take orders on the website and by phone, so don't hesitate to be in touch if you want something the next few months. Just going to take it easy for a while. Got guests coming for the holidays? Potato rolls, sticky buns, Dutch apple pie, Christmas Star bread, etc, are always crowd-pleasers!
