I woke up in a cold sweat this morning and realized why my cookie dough felt so gooey yesterday. it’s not lost on me that I was literally bragging in my substack yesterday about how hard it is to mess up cookie dough and then turned around and made them completely wrong 😅

apparently cookies are more forgiving than I thought, and now you get extra buttery goodness at WRIGHTSTOWN FARMERS MARKET tomorrow!!

About 8 months ago we had the amazing opportunity to have our story documented. We are so grateful for every door that this little micro-bakery has opened for us and our family! Even though our production has basically quadrupled since this was filmed, this is a perfect window into what Calico Bread Co. looks like and what motivates us.

Happy 4th of July to everyone happily melting with us today! We are beach people by nature, so maybe the only place we’d RATHER be is watching fireworks on the beach, but seeing your shiny sweaty faces today is a close second 😉

When we stop to think about our own unexpected version of the American dream we’re living, we can’t help but feel so blessed to live in this country. 🇺🇸
