Today, on Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating the heart and soul behind Bake Ability… our incredible owner, Paula.
Paula’s journey didn’t begin with a business plan… it began with a mother’s love. As the proud mom of two amazing sons living with Fragile X syndrome, she saw firsthand the challenges families of neurodiverse individuals often face—especially when it comes to meaningful opportunities, acceptance, and inclusion.
Instead of accepting “what is,” Paula chose to create “what could be.” She opened Bake Ability with one powerful mission: to create a place where her sons—and others in our community with diverse abilities—could be seen, valued, supported, and empowered to shine.
Because of one mother’s love, courage, and determination, lives are being changed every single day. ❤️
This Mother’s Day, we honor Paula… not just for the amazing bakery she built, but for the doors she continues to open for so many families.
Also, Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms who turn challenges into purpose, and love into something that changes the world at Bake Ability everyday.
