At the Bread Basket we are baking up fresh breads and goodies daily. We also have a deli serving made-to-order sandwiches as well as selling quality meat and cheese by the pound. You can find a huge variety of bulk foods such as candies, pantry staples, and specialty items. We carry a great selection of gluten-free products, fresh eggs, and locally made jams and jellies. ally made, including soaps and lotions, wooden utensils, knitted items, and home decor. You'll be greeted with a smile and the wonderful smell of bread being baked fresh in our ovens.

It’s a bit belated but…I wanted to send a quick “thank you” to those who have been my friends and customers over the past ten years. April 1st would have been the end of my 10th year at the Bread Basket. While I’ve enjoyed baking all the things all these years, the relationships have been the greatest blessing of working at the Bread Basket.

Likewise, I want to thank Al and Missy Hochstetler as well as Ben and Kathy Yoder for giving me the joy of this job. I used to collect my paycheck and say to Missy (and then Kathy) “Thanks for letting me work here.” I meant it heartily.

Also, my coworkers have been an absolutely amazing collection of people. I couldn’t have asked for a better group to work alongside. Y’all will be missed.

My family and I are about to begin a new chapter far from Floyd. We’ll soon be moving to Indonesia. Our work will involve relationships much like those we’ve enjoyed in Floyd and telling people about the love of Jesus Christ.
