Lovely review from a recent guest!

“My husband and I loved our stay at the Boho apartment! The location was perfect for walking into the town of Floyd, and the space was sparkling clean with so many thoughtful touches (like bottled water in the fridge, an extension cord, plenty of coffee pods, etc.). As book lovers, we were thrilled to be just around the corner from a charming and beautifully curated bookstore—such a great find!

We both had to work remotely during our stay, and there were several convenient places to set up our laptops (desk, table, counter seating). The internet worked great, too. In short, we highly recommend this place! :)”

“Simple, clean, and very nicely decorated apartment. The beds were comfy, the whole apartment was spotless, the living room seating was welcoming, and all the basic supplies were available (shampoo, soaps, dishwasher pods, laundry soap, etc). And the location can’t be beat. I hope to come back soon!”

“We went to Floyd for a wedding and this was the perfect place to stay! And it was also perfect for our 10 month old, honestly a very baby friendly place which was a plus. Everything was fully stocked and clean. It was nice to be able to walk to downtown from the house! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and recommend staying here if you’re in Floyd!”

“We loved staying at Shalene’s place in Floyd! I brought my partner and my parents to my Alma mater Virginia Tech for a football game but wanted to explore another local spot too. Floyd was not too far from the Tech campus and it was nice to leave the hustle and bustle of Blacksburg.

My partner and I arrived late on a Thursday evening, and it was an stress-free arrival since Shalene sent me the check in instructions in advance and I didn’t have to bother her at 11 pm. The apartment was easy to find and we appreciated the lights on the steps to guide our path.

Our first impression was how clean and cozy the apartment was! We also truly appreciated how well stocked we found it! My partner forgot his toothbrush, but Shalene had every toiletry available in the bathroom for guests - it was a pleasant and much appreciated surprise! Shalene also left plenty of towels and blankets. The apartment had all the comforts of home.

The kitchen was also fully stocked with pots and pans, which made it helpful for us to cook some goodies for tailgating. Shalene left several cold water bottles in the fridge which was appreciated!

Especially helpful was the book they left with instructions and recommended restaurants/shops nearby! We got to explore a local coffee shop on Friday morning and we ate at Dogtown Roadhouse on Saturday night, which was a real local treasure! When we got back from dinner we saw a family of deer just across the small road by the door. It was magical!

Shalene and her husband were very responsive to our questions and overall wonderful hosts! We would 100% stay again!”

"This apartment was a sparkling clean and cozy home away from home for us, with a great kitchen for cooking. It was an easy walk to Main Street and the grocery store. The hosts were on top of everything, and everyone around the complex was friendly. We hope to stay again on our next visit."

"We have stayed at this Airbnb multiple times, and it is the only place we wish to stay! It is immaculate, roomy, within walking distance to town, easy to get in, fully stocked with everything you need, safe ….. we just can’t say enough great things about this Airbnb and its owners! The town of Floyd is an awesome town to visit, great music venue (The Floyd Country Store), lots of great little shops and boutiques, lots of great restaurants, and beautiful views. We highly recommend this Airbnb and this town for a fun getaway!!"

“What a perfect place for us to stay for our son’s graduation! The place was cozy, but spacious at the same time. Everything we needed was waiting for us! Shalene was very responsive and helpful! We even received awesome local recommendations a few days before our trip that were very helpful! The town of Floyd was very cute and we enjoyed an afternoon of walking on Main Street visiting all the shops. I would definitely recommend staying here!”

“Stayed here while working a contract as a travel nurse. The apartment was exactly as described. It was clean and well appointed with a few surprise amenities! The management was always responsive and such a pleasure to work with. Floyd was quaint and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend for any stay in the Floyd area.”
