Typically, I don't book big or long distance events on bake stand weekends, It's just too much. But, when you get a phone call from one of your favorite clients a month before their wedding in a panic because nothing is going right, the first words out of my mouth are almost always "Don't stress, I got you."
Ryanne and Malia have a favorite icecream downtown tc and I was asked to recreate it in cake form. If you've been here for a while you know two things: I love a challenge, and I love wild flavors. I'll admit when the words "Honey, lavendar, salted carmel and candied pecans" left her mouth I went "ew, what???" But I HAD to try it. So Ryanne and I went on an icecream outing and honestly? So much better than I ever would have expected. This cake? Ugh, so good. So good, that I'm considering keeping it on the menu permanently. I am absolutely smitten with this dessert table, it was SUCH a stunning wedding.

Hi friends! Rainy Saturday morning post.
This weekend I made:

Pecan rolls- pan and single
Sticky buns- pan and single
Lem bb cakes
Samoa cookie bars
Tagalong cookie bars
Brown butter choc chip cookies
Chocolate pistachio cookies
Pb cup brownies
Snickers brownies

Traffic has just been incredibly unpredictable with all of this road construction so I kept it pretty light with the options and ill probably just keep doing that until we're out of all of this nonsense. The Sharon road rerout has really messed with our fun.

Another note I want to touch on; my last weekend on, I had a comment card with the request of "make normal cookies" and I realized I've never really offered up an explanation for why I dont, and wont ever be doing that.

Reason 1: they just dont sell. I had soooooooo many people BEG me for oatmeal raisin cookies. After two years of requests (I always try my best to accommodate requests within reason) I finally buckled and made them against my better judgment, they did not sell.
Reason 2: I really try not to make things anyone can easily whip up in their own kitchen, or just go out and buy from the grocery store.
Reason 3: Half the fun of what I do is getting creative with products, taking something and turning it into something else, taking a classic and putting my own creative spin on it. (Brownie stuffed brown butter chocolate chip)
so unfortunately, "normal cookies" wont ever be something you see coming from my kitchen unless they're special ordered.

Well, went to do an update post and realized I never posted last night 😵‍💫🤦🏼‍♀️ lawwwwd
Anyway, the stand is open! No more road construction, no more weird lumpy bump in the driveway (Yay!) Resuming our normally scheduled programming, this weekend I have for you:

Peanut butter cup brownies: single and pan
Snickers brownies (didn't forget the peanuts this time 😉)
Blueberry muffins
Peach crumble muffins
Lemon Blueberry cakes: Single and pan
Peach cobbler (per request, with more peach)

The bake stand has been fully restocked.
I didnt have enough peaches for a full pan of cobbler, so i got to eat a pan for breakfast. (Im certainly not complaining 😉🤣)

Helllloooooo and welcome to another sweet filled weekend!
The stand looks a little different this go around, with the road construction going on I wasn"t quite sure what to expect traffic wise and I'd really hate for anything to to to waste. That being said, I cut back quite a bit on options to shop from.

I slapped a new brownie on the menu (wild timing but whatever), I'm calling it "Chocolate covered..." and it's definitely a trust that I know what I'm doing product 😅
My known and loved fudgy brownie base,
Salted carmel with potato chips and pretzels, a layer of milk chocolate ganache and topped with more potato chips, pretzels and sea salt. I know you're probably thinking "girl, WHAT???" but just trust me, salt and chocolate 🤌🤌 match made in heaven.

Anyway this weekend I made;
🫐 Blueberry muffins
🍋Lemon Blueberry cake
🍫 White cake with chocolate frosting
🫐Blueberry Crumble bars
🍓strawberry rhubarb crumble bars (a little less messy this go around)
🥜Peanut butter cup brownies
🍫 Chocolate covered... brownies
🥜Snickers brownies (they dont have peanuts, which, honestly is tragic but by the time I realized I never actually ordered peanuts it was too late)
🍑Peach Cobbler

Also a note: Due to the fresh pavement, there is a large lip? Bump? Dip? Whatever you want to call it from the driveway to the road.
