Hi 👋 I’m Ashley - the face behind Foley Farm Baking Co 🍪
I started this business in late August last year after being faced with choosing between being a mother or an employee. Charlotte my youngest had been home sick in mid July while I was working remotely. I was on a phone call when her sister Adalynn came running to me to inform me Charlotte had found peanut butter cups and ate them. She is allergic to peanuts, at 11 months she experienced hives with facial swelling. I had to abruptly hang up my call, search for the epipen (which blanks your mind in an emergency) and call 9-1-1. The first responders arrived here SO fast and advised we head to ER to monitor charlottes symptoms. She received steroids and we were told we’d remain for 4 hours because with ingestion they can experience reaction again as epi wears off. She turned out to be OK, thankfully! After this traumatic event I was given a final warning. I felt so unsupported and knew I needed to leave as life was about to get more hectic with Adalynn beginning Kindergarten. This job simply did not align with where I was in my life. My husband is a truck driver who typically is not even in the state. Here I am today, I took that leap. I quit my job, It was SO scary and you’ve all proven this is exactly where I am supposed to be today 🫶🏻

As I prep for my busiest week ahead I just want to say THANK YOU. Without you guys I’d not be this successful. I’m so lucky to have you all. Without you guys I’d never be able to be home with my youngest daughter and volunteer at my oldest daughters school like I did today 🥰 now time to crush over 11 custom dozen cookies💪
