We’re still really big on the bread, but lately we’ve been embracing the sweeter side of life. At the bakery and the market today we have double chocolate, chocolate chip, oatmeal currant and snickerdoodle cookies. We add juuust a lil local flour and sourdough starter to each cookie, plus a whole lot of browned butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla (duh) So far they’re a hit! Best advice is to get one of each. Happy Saturday everybody 😋

Five years ago today Morgan and I did our first ever farmers market at the 2nd St Market. The rest is history 😎

And we’ll be back there today! It’s going to be a busy weekend at the bakery and at the market, we’re prepping our butts off to bring you the goods. Focaccia, cookies, pretzels, all the breads - we got you. Have a great weekend Dayton, these past five years have been a blast and the next five are looking to be even better. ✊

Best day of the year: the outdoor portion returns at the 2nd Street Market! We love seeing our local farmers and we love meeting new vendors. We also had a pretty solid bake this morning and have tons of goodies both here at 527 Wayne and at our booth at the 2nd St Market. So get it while it’s hot! Happy spring everybody 🌱

A picture of the bakery from 6am this morning vs what it looked like on this day last year. Crazy! Big shout out to .day.oh for the work he’s doing to bring the Dietz Block Building back to life. Next up is , our soon-to-be neighbor, which is set to open late spring/early summer. That still leaves two empty storefronts in the building … what kind of business would you want to see next to Good Hands? 🧐

We love all the pretty morning light we’ve been getting here at the bakery lately 🫠 We have nice full spread today: sourdough cookies, daybread, fluffy cinnamon rolls, pretzels, whole grain spelt, red fife and all the other big crusty loaves. Baguettes just came out! 🔥

We’re also working on some fun new stuff today that we’ll have for tomorrow and all weekend. (also some old seasonal delights are coming back 🌱🥨) Stay tuned!
