I’m honestly STILL in shock that Made By Yub took home the trophy for 🏆 Best Sweets/Drinks at the Long Beach BBQ Festival!!

Before I told anyone else, I had to share the news with my grandma first. 🥹💕 Never in a million years would I have guessed that I’d grow up baking HER cheesecake recipe… especially after spending 18+ years telling her I didn’t even like cheesecake 🤣

Being able to tell her about this win in person meant more to me than anything.

Black is me. 🖤✨

Black History Month is always one of my busiest baking seasons, and this year was no different. But this time, I was asked to speak during one of my deliveries… and in that moment, I realized I’m living in my ancestors’ wildest dreams.

Every tear. Every moment of self-doubt. Every sleepless night. Every crash out. It was all worth it. I wouldn’t change a single thing about my journey.

Special shoutout to my tribe for keeping me sane through the chaos. To everyone who placed an order, pulled up to a market, said hello, or simply made me laugh, thank you. Your support means more than you know.

Times ARE hard right now, but I’m grateful to wake up and live in my passion and even more grateful to have you along for the ride.
