Hey guys!
I’m sure you’ve all noticed that the farm stand has been pretty quiet lately outside of eggs. I promise, one of these days I’ll get back after it! But I thought I’d give everyone a little update on what’s been happening in the 4Bros Farm world.
Our house build is coming along beautifully! When we first started this process, I thought, “Oh my gosh, this is going to be so much fun! I get to pick out everything myself and have things exactly how I want them from day one.” Fast forward a few months, and that excitement turned into a healthy dose of anxiety when selections weren’t made (months in advance) and my ADHD brain decided that every single decision needed to be completed immediately or I wasn’t sleeping at night. 😂
We’ve had countertop drama after the warehouse sold our slabs, second round were cracked and we had to move to option 3. We made plenty of house changes and battled more rain delays than I care to count. But we’re finally moving forward! Basement walls are poured, drainage and plumbing are going in this week, and the basement floor gets poured Monday morning. 🙌
I’ll be announcing some BIG news at the end of the month about something that’s been taking up A LOT of our time lately and what it means for the future of 4Bros Farm. We’re excited to finally share it with you all!
This month also brought one of the first events of the season that I’ve been able to attend for my hubby’s business. We spent a few days this past weekend cheering on some amazing customers and friends. My oldest son, Carter, is crew chief for the world’s quickest 1/8-mile diesel vehicle, driven by our friend Michael Cordova. This beast runs 209 mph in just 3.7 seconds. S&S powered, of course. 😉
As proud as I am of the driver behind the wheel, seeing my boy out there doing his thing is next level for me. Watching him work, lead, and be part of something so incredible fills this mama’s heart.
Summer schedules have always been busy around here, and between race events, the house build, farm life, and everything else that comes with this season of life, baking has taken a bit of a backseat. But we’re still here, still working, still dreaming, and still moving forward.
Thank you all for sticking around and supporting our little corner of the world. We appreciate every one of you more than you know. ❤️
