Hey Burning Acre family, Emily here. If you haven’t seen our latest video update yet, we need to talk about some massive shifts coming down the pipeline.
As of July 1st, 2026, the rules surrounding Tennessee's h**p industry are undergoing a complete overhaul. Oversight is transferring entirely to the Alcohol and Beverage Commission (ABC). For us, that means saying goodbye to our 400mg Mellow Mallows, and it means all over-the-counter smokable flower, vapes, and concentrates are completely going away. We are staying ahead of the curve. Burning Acre will have our official retail license to keep serving our 21+ community with premium, compliant h**p products. But instead of just shrinking our footprint, we saw an opportunity to build something beautiful for the entire community.
Introducing: The Steamship 🚢 Born right here inside Burning Acre.
We are expanding our space to bring you a 100% family-friendly, non-infused craft sandwich shop, larder, and artisan bakery. We are taking the fast-casual assembly line model and flipping it on its head to serve premium Gourmet Sandwiches, fresh salads, scratch-baked goods, and hand-cranked botanical sodas.
Here is our absolute line in the sand: No corporate food trucks. ❌
We refuse to let a massive Sysco truck pull up to our doors to drop off frozen, chemically preserved fillings or factory-made bread.
Instead, the heart of our kitchen will be our in-house larder. We are firing up our own smokers right here on-site to smoke our own custom meats.
We are making all of our own gourmet soups and signature sauces completely from scratch—from hand-emulsified Smoked Garlic Aioli and rich Bourbon-Peppercorn Aioli, to our vibrant Green Goddess Dressing and our sweet/savory House Strawberry Jelly for our signature Napoleon sandwich.
But because we are building this cooperative marketplace from the ground floor up, we need your help to fill the rest of our inventory. We are on a relentless hunt for premium, fully traceable ingredients. We want real clean food grown in local dirt—completely free of glyphosate, additives, and industrial shortcuts. And it doesn't stop at the food. We are searching for small businesses that can supply completely toxin-free packaging, clean cups, and eco-friendly straws because transparency matters from the plate to the trash can.
