We are in the last week of August, and even if the weather doesn't start cooperating right away, we will be embracing fall and the flavors that go with it once September hits! So that means that this week is the last week for the featured August flavors.
When September begins, we will have our fall coffee lineup ready (pumpkin spice and gingerbread syrups, made in-house, as always), we will offer hot apple cider for the first time, and the first round of fall pastry flavors (more info below). More fall flavors will roll out in October and November!
Read on, also, to learn more about additional fall special events - from some limited doughnut pop-ups to Thanksgiving and more!
September Menu Sneak Peek
Here's the first look at what the pastry case will be featuring daily throughout the month of September. Lots of returning favorites - from the apple cinnamon pop tarts (Granny Smith apples cooked down with cinnamon and brown sugar) to the snickerdoodle cookie; from pumpkin bread to the dirty chai cupcake.
We will share some more photos next week, but for now, enjoy this close-up of the Apple Cinnamon Pop Tart!
Remember: all of these items start on Tuesday, September 1st.
Round Challah
Every fall, as the Jewish New Year rolls around, we offer the traditional round challah. Unlike the standard challah we make every Friday (designed to be shared at the Sabbath meal), the round one is usually only made for this special and holy occasion.
The round shape is means to symbolize the continuous cycle of life, as well as the turning of a new year (in the Jewish calendar). We offer these by special order only, and you can choose either the traditional (which contains egg and honey) or the vegan (which contains agave, no egg).
The special order button below gives you three choices for your challah pick-up:
Friday, September 11 & Saturday, September 12 (to coincide with Rosh Hashanah)
Saturday, September 19 (to prepare for Yom Kippur - which doesn't start until Sunday night, so you can get it early as the meal before Yom Kippur begins or save it an extra day for breaking the fast).
Please choose one of those days during checkout. If the system doesn't automatically match the pickup day/time you want, feel free to adjust it manually during checkout or we will handle it on our end after it comes through!

Delivery Reminder
Whether it's hot, humid, stormy days or cold, snowy ones - or you just don't want to leave your house/office - we've got you covered! Our website's online ordering has both pickup and delivery options.
PICKUP - You can walk in, of course, or you can select curbside pickup. With curbside, we ask you to park as close to our doors as possible and then give us a call that you've arrived. We will bring your order right out to you!
DELIVERY - When you first enter the Order Online portal, you'll select delivery instead of pickup. (See photo below.) Enter your delivery address and you'll either be confirmed or told your delivery address is too far away. It appears to be an approximately 10 mile radius from B's. (We don't set those parameters, so we can't override them!)
After your address is approved, you can go ahead and place your order. Be sure to select the proper day and time you want, during the checkout process!
A few things to keep in mind:
MEALS - Available for same-day delivery or future delivery. Just make sure if you're ordering breakfast, you have the order time set for during breakfast hours. Same for Burger Bar. (Lunch runs all day, so that's not an issue.)
PASTRIES - Only cookies are available if you're getting a same-day delivery. If you want cinnamon rolls, pop tarts, etc., you'll need to make sure the delivery is set for a future day.
GRAB & GO - crackers, graham crackers, pasta salads, and beyond are all fine for same-day or future ordering.
SPECIAL ORDERS - These are still subject to their built-in lead time, which varies from one to three business days. But if you're planning ahead, then even your special orders can get delivered!
It is important to note that we are unable to set up delivery orders in the bakery! Our registers can only set up pickup orders. The only way to access delivery options is on the website. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
Travel to Guatemala with Us
in 2027!
Antigua Con Amor (Antigua With Love) is what we call our trip experiences to our favorite place - Antigua Guatemala, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the source of our fantastic De la Gente coffee.
For our vegan (as well as vegetarian and/or gluten-free) customers, you'd be hard pressed to find as beautiful a city anywhere with as many delicious and safe choices for you to eat! (If you're not vegetarian or vegan, don't worry - you'll also eat like royalty!)
Airfares are still decent right now for these itineraries (although not as low as a few weeks ago), so if you've ever thought about going on one of our trips, you might want to reserve a spot soon.
NEXT YEAR'S TRIPS:
January 26 - February 2, 2027 (4 spots left)
March 16-23, 2027 (6 spots left)
July 13-20, 2027
October 5-12, 2027
We also have an accompanying Instagram account, with the same name, and we'd love for you to follow along!

PRIVATE TRIPS:
You don't have to stick to the calendar we've put together! You can gather your own group of family members or friends, and pick your own dates for a custom tour! You'll find info on the Private Trips page (https://www.antiguaconamor.com/private-trips) of our new site.
Antigua Guatemala has year-round highs in the upper 70s, and lows in the 50's. Little humidity, and January - in particular - is the height of the dry season. Sunny days and cool nights....it's a wonderful combination!
All trip participants get to stay at Porta Hotel Antigua, an eco-friendly and beautiful hotel property. All rooms are in the garden area of the hotel, facing the lush grounds and/or the swimming pool. You'll eat wonderful food, walk through and learn about this incredible colonial city, and have unparalleled experiences in this mile-high valley that sits at the base of three volcanoes. And you get the two of us as your personal tour guides!
