🍞 Cinnamon Raisin Sourdough 🍞

This one is just SO good. 🥰

Soft, sweet sourdough bread mixed with cinnamon, brown sugar, and plenty of sweet raisins.

Toast a couple of slices, add a little butter while they’re still warm, and just enjoy.

A little sweet, a little cozy, and absolutely perfect with your morning coffee. ☕️

I've been playing around with two new mini loaf flavors…

🌿 Rosemary & Thyme — garden-fresh herbs, a tender golden crumb, and that lovely savory warmth that feels right at home on a Southern table.

🫐🍋 Blueberry Lemon — sweet blueberries with fresh lemon for a fragrant sunshine-kissed little loaf.

Just a couple of new creations being testing in the bakery kitchen… and I think we may have something special here. ✨

🎃🍫 A LITTLE FALL MAGIC FROM THE TEST KITCHEN! 🍫🎃

The Orange Apron Bakery has been experimenting again… and this one might be a keeper! 🍂🧡

Introducing a Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Sourdough Mini Loaf — soft, tender sourdough infused with cozy pumpkin and warm fall spices, studded with mini chocolate chips in every bite.

Think pumpkin bread meets sourdough… with a little chocolatey goodness thrown in! 😋

And because it’s made with sourdough, you get that traditional fermented sourdough goodness in a delicious fall treat. 🧡

These adorable 10-oz mini loaves are still in the testing stage, but the test kitchen is giving this flavor a BIG thumbs up!

🫐 A little test kitchen experimenting from The Orange Apron Bakery! 🧡

A few days ago, The Orange Apron Bakery experimented with a batch of made-from-scratch blueberry muffins, finished with a buttery brown sugar streusel topping.

Fresh blueberries, a tender homemade muffin, and a sweet, crumbly topping — sometimes the simplest things are the best! 🫐🧁

Another recipe tested, tasted, and enjoyed from the Orange Apron Bakery kitchen. 👩‍🍳🧡

And soon… it’s time to start thinking about FALL FLAVORS! 🍂🍁 More coming soon from the test kitchen!

🧡 Sneak peek of what’s been happening in the test kitchen!

Feedback has been very positive for both of these products, so I’m excited to share a little preview!

🌰 Candied Pecans — also made a few candied cashews, but they didn’t make it into a photo! 😂 The bag shown is 4 oz.

🥣 Gut-Healthy Sourdough Granola — perfect for topping yogurt or ice cream! The photo shows one of the 2 oz samples I’ve shared. I’m hoping to offer it in 6 oz containers.

I’m hoping to add these products, along with some other goodies, to The Orange Apron Bakery lineup and eventually bring them to some local farmers markets.

Hello everyone, Tina here... I wanted to share that Christmas through the first of 2026 was particularly challenging on a personal level. Those who know me understand the depth of this statement. We are looking forward to resuming frequent posts on this page and setting up shop at farmers markets and similar venues.
Will post some desserts that have been experimented with in the kitchen soon.
