This was for one of my own Littles.
Did I birth her? No
Do I still claim her as mine? Yes

She saw this "cake" on the show "The Summer I Turned Pretty" it's Belly's birthday cake.
It's actually a St Honore cake made by very skilled pastry chefs. Definitely out of my lane, but the family gets what they want cause they have to eat it no matter how it comes out 🤣

I made the creme puffs and a light Chantilly frosting (it is not the original frosting).
I filled all the puffs with a wee bit of the frosting then dipped each one in caramel, that I made from scratch.
The center is 2 small layers of puffed pastry with frosting in between and then it was covered in more frosting because, well, frosting 😋

The inspiration picture from the show captured a really happy presentation and a huge smile from Belly so I went with a fun, whimsical theme for my girl.
