Hallo ihr Lieben,
Oh, to finally fill those display cases with all our baked goods, hear your chatter and laughter, and smell the aroma of freshly brewed coffee.
We would give anything for that day to be here already.
"When do you open?"
"When is the grand opening?"
To be honest, we don't know yet, and we wish we had an answer for you.
All of our paperwork has been submitted, and now we're playing the waiting game. We are currently waiting on an additional approval for the existing oven and walk-in refrigerator, as they were installed long before many of today's regulations and codes existed.
The good news? The state remembers the bakery and the equipment from previous operations, and everything else in our application has been completed.
Sometimes plans change, timelines get pushed back, and it can be incredibly frustrating. But we're hanging in there.
What keeps us going is YOU!
The support.
The excitement.
The familiar faces peeking through the windows.
The questions about when we'll open.
The stories about how much you've missed my baked goods.
And those moments when someone realizes, "Wait... you're the German bakery?" and their face lights up with excitement.
The encouragement, excitement, and belief in this dream mean more than you'll ever know.
Thank you for being patient with us.
We promise that the moment we have an opening date, you'll be among the first to know.
Until then, we're one step closer than we were yesterday.
