What an awesome day! 🍩

12 employees, 20 hours, 250lbs of Raised, 80lbs of cake, 3,600 donuts, 303 dozen, hundreds and hundreds of customers, countless smiles = priceless fun & forever memories! 🫶🏼

Days like today makes me love what we do even more!

I couldn't have done any of this today without my AMAZING staff or without any of YOU!! 🩷

We are ready to welcome you with open arms and tasty donuts!!! 😋

Come see us Tomorrow we open at 5:30 a.m.! We will stay open until all the donuts are gone!

DETAILS-

🍩 FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE!!! (We will not be taking call in orders on National Donut day!) 🤳🏼

🍩1 FREE Glazed Donut for each person present and visible in the building or in your vehicle!! (If you do a little dance for us! 😉😆)

🍩 Be patient!! We will have hot products rolling out all morning but we will obviously be very busy! I will have ample staff available to help but be patient & just enjoy celebrating this day with us! 🫶🏼

🍩We are giving away 5 FREE T-shirts to the first 5 customers!!! 😲

🍩We will be handing out donut coins that are good for 1 FREE donut your next visit! 1 coin for each child present!!! 🪙

🍩We also have about 12 little gift bags ready for the first 12 kids that come wearing a shirt or shorts that have a donut/donuts or sprinkles on them!!! 🎁

I don't do this nearly enough!!! 🩷

Meet Melody! She is seriously amazing!

She works the night/early morning shift as a fryer!!!

I'm not exaggerating when I say that being a fryer/decorator is the hardest job at a donut shop! 💯

It takes a crazy amount of focus, multi-tasking and efficiency. You have to pay close attention to timers and to the dough. You have have to make sure everything proofs enough to be big and fluffy but doesn't overproof and become dense and flat. You have to cook items just long enough. While you're icing hot items, you have your next batch in the fryer. You have to pull your donuts out of the icing and decorate them before they dry if they need toppings. Always paying attention to multiple things at once. Donuts are delicious, fun and beautiful but they are CRAZY hard work! 😅
And did I mention, it's almost 80° in the kitchen, standing over a 375° fryer?

Melody has really mastered frying!!! 😍

She has been with me about 2 years! She is sweet, patient, hard working and thoughtful! She has always been a good listener and such a hard worker. Always desiring to do her best and become better! She has even been a huge help on special event days knocking out custom decorating like for Harry Potter weekend!

She not only works full time but she takes college classes and is active at her church and involved with her family! 😊

I am so blessed to have her on my team! You may not get to see our bakers/fryers up front but they are the ones making the magic happen in the kitchen and bringing you delicious, from scratch donuts 7 days a week!!! 🍩

Thank you Melody not just for what you do but for who you are! 🩷 We love you!
