🐔❤️ A LITTLE REINTRODUCTION FROM THE HEN HUT ❤️🐔
We’re coming up on 3 years of The Hen Hut, and I realized there are probably quite a few of you who don’t actually know who’s behind this little roadside stand! 🙈😂
First things first… I’m not trying to be an influencer. 😂 You will hardly ever see me in a photo or video. 🤷🏼♀️ We take approximately ONE family photo a year 🙈😂 (evidence attached) and I’m much more of a live in the moment and hope someone else got pictures so I can look back on the memories later kind of person.
I started The Hen Hut for many reasons, but the biggest ones are pretty simple: I love to bake, and I LOVE to feed people. ❤️ There’s something about making something with your own hands and sharing it with others that just makes me happy.
And honestly, I think that’s part of why I love this little hut so much. We live in a world that is becoming more and more digital, where so much of our lives happen behind a screen. We can “connect” with hundreds of people without ever actually having a conversation with them. I love that The Hen Hut gives us a little excuse to step away from the screens, slow down, and actually talk to one another.
Some of my favorite parts of doing this have nothing to do with selling bread. They’re the conversations at the hut, meeting new people, seeing familiar faces, hearing about your families, and watching a little roadside stand turn into a small piece of our community. ❤️
I’m so incredibly thankful for every single person who has supported our little hut over the years. And I’m especially thankful for all of the wonderful people I’ve had the chance to meet along the way.

I’ll probably still stay behind the camera most of the time. 😂 But I’d much rather see you at the hut, in person, having an actual conversation than trying to keep up with everything online.
