You know it's good when I have to sneak a piece and hide while eating it so that my family doesn't try to steal it away from me.

But y'allllll.... Lance walked in the door as I was sneaking this picture and shoving my face 😆

Anyways, this is the topped APPLE PIE cookie, which has homemade apple pie filling on top of a cinnamon graham cookie, drizzled with caramel, and topped with crushed graham crackers for some crunch.

It's incredibly delicious 😋

I will have these available on both the porchstand, and our farmer's market set-up on Wednesday. More details to come tomorrow.

Sometimes I branch out 😉

This is for one of my oldest customers, using her grandma's personal recipe 😋

She messaged me about 3 years ago asking if I would be willing to bake a personal recipe for her. I was excited, but nervous. Recreating someone's nostalgic recipe is a tall order. But here we are, 3 years later, still proudly baking this for her for special occasions. 💪

When I transitioned to 100% gluten free I was worried we would miss the mark, and she would hate the new way we were forced to create her masterpiece. Buttttt ... she was super brave and allowed me the chance to tweak the old recipe, and turn it into something very special.

Here we have it... a moist and delicious GLUTEN FREE carrot cake that has great texture and flavor, no grit, and stays moist for days.

Some days are wins!!!!

Thank you girl for always trusting me ❤️

TODAY IS COOKIE CLASS DAY!!!

So we're all prepped and ready.. heading out early to get set up for the day....

The hubby is driving, and I'm just scrolling through Facebook.

THANK GOODNESS I follow other local bakers because I see a random post of a tray of sugar cookies ready to be decorated.

AND IT HITS ME.... Our sugar cookies are still sitting at home in the freezer 🙃

Kinda hard to host a COOKIE DECORATING CLASS without said cookies to decorate!! 🤣🤦‍♀️

Back home we go 🏃‍♀️
