Meet GRIMACE!

The birthday boy absolutely LOVES Grimace, so naturally, we had to make him his very own giant, edible version! 😂 This cake was about 13” tall.

Remember that mystery 3D cake we shared last month after it was carved but BEFORE we started decorating it? 👀

Well… SURPRISE! This was the finished cake!

From carving and stacking to adding his little arms, facial features, and ALLLL that purple buttercream texture, this guy was definitely a labor of love — but we absolutely love how he turned out!

One of our favorite things about sculpted cakes is watching a plain stack of cake slowly transform into an actual character. It’s a process, but the end result is always so much fun!

Now we need to know… did anyone guess correctly that our mystery cake was GRIMACE?! 😂

And if you have a character you’d love to see turned into a 3D cake, send us your ideas! We love a good sculpting challenge!

We’re LOVIN’ these cookies!

Can we just take a minute to appreciate how FUN this McDonald’s cookie set turned out?! 😍

From the burger and fries to the Happy Meal box, drink cup, and iconic golden arches, every little detail helped bring this theme together!

These cookies were created using a combination of edible printing, airbrushing, AND hand-piped details — because sometimes one decorating technique just isn’t enough! 😂

We absolutely LOVE how they turned out! The mix of techniques really made everything pop, and this is definitely one of those sets that was almost too cute to eat. Almost. 🤣

Now the important question…

If you could only pick ONE cookie from this set, which one are you grabbing?!

🍟Ba da ba ba baaa… I’m lovin’ it! 🍔

This McDonald’s-themed party was SO much fun to work on, and we think it might be one of our favorite themes yet! 😍

For this order, we started with:
-Pretzels
-Macarons
-Oreos
-And the star of the show… CHICKEN NUGGET CAKE BITES!

They were basically cake pops without the stick 😂. But how awesome do they look?! And we packaged them in actual nugget boxes from McDonalds! They were definitely a hit at the party! 🙌

Because honestly, what’s better than opening a nugget box and finding CAKE inside?! We’ll show the boxes in another post 👍🏼

We absolutely love unique orders that let us get a little creative and make treats that are just as fun to look at as they are to eat!

Would you be fooled by the chicken nugget cake pops?

Have a fun or unusual theme in mind? Send it our way! We love a good challenge. ❤️

Just a little behind-the-scenes peek at these beauties!

In case you didn’t know — every macaron from Snickerdoodle Sweets is made completely from scratch! Even when an order only needs a couple macarons to decorate the top of a cake, we still whip up an entire fresh batch just for it.

We make the shells, fillings, and everything in between ourselves — because those little details make a difference.
And I have to say… there’s something SO satisfying about seeing a tray full of pretty macaron shells come together. 😍

Now to fill these babies!
