From a farmers market tent where we sold exclusively vegan cakes, to our first Roscoe Village location, to now. Three locations, a huge community, customers who come to our birthday parties, and employees who spend Christmas with us.

More than a business, this has been a blessing.

Teamwork.

We’re not going to lie, there are hard days. Days when something personal is going on, or days when nothing seems to go right.

But when we step behind the counter, there is always an extra hand ready to help, support, and turn the day around.

One of the most important qualities we look for when hiring is teamwork. The ability to help each other, support the people around you, and create a space where we feel like a family.

Because at The Bakehouse, we don’t just want a workplace, we want a place that is home to everybody!
