We are asking for immediate action on the Crosswalk Issue and the Speed Reduction on North Main Street in Centerton, Arkansas, so people can park, cross Main Street safely, and reach local businesses without fear.

We want to thank everyone who has responded and everyone who has voiced concern about this issue. Safety for the people who live, work, shop, and visit here is not an argument. It is a basic need. Right now, fast traffic in both directions and no safe means to cross the street put everyone at risk every day. We should not have to hope that nobody gets hurt while waiting for action.
North Main Street is home to established businesses, and new businesses are opening soon. That means more foot traffic, more cars, and more people trying to get across a busy street. Without a clear plan, the problem will only grow. This is why we are asking the responsible decision-makers to stop delaying and put safety first.

We need a real plan and a clear time frame for completion. The community deserves to know what will be done, when it will be done, and how it will make crossing Main Street safer for everyone. Time and politics should not stand in the way of common-sense safety measures.
We urge you to act now, before this issue becomes a tragedy.
Centerton, Arkansas needs a safe crossing and a 25 mph speed limit
on North Main Street, and we need it handled with urgency and care.

As you can see in the drawings attached date January 1900.
There is an 80 foot Right of Way.
The buildings front outside wall is the property line, not the sidewalks. They are part of the Right of Way.

Let's Try something , even if it's temporary to slow down the traffic to 25 mph and put a temporary crosswalk in place, nothing is being done.

North Main Street needs a real safety plan, and it needs one now.
