Who has been missing scones and cookies? Now that the wedding is over, we are getting back to work. With Maple Leaf this weekend, I have decided to offer scones and Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies for Friday afternoon pick-up.

Cookies:
6 for $15
12 for $25

Scones:
4 for $13
8 for $24

Orders must be in by 6:00 pm on Wednesday.

I’ve teased about the flower wall I’ve been designing and now here it is in all her glory. We used it as the backdrop to the candy table for my son’s wedding. First time doing a flower wall and first time doing a candy table. Definitely something I would like to offer my clients. It was so fun to put together and who doesn’t like candy?

When using artificial flowers, did you know you can use a cigarette lighter to “iron” and shape your leaves and petals? I learned this years ago working in the floral industry. Now I’m working on arrangements for my son’s wedding and thought I would share. Just be careful not to 1) Burn yourself, and 2) Catch the leaves on fire. Both definitely can happen. So, let me know in the comments if this is new to you or something you’ve been doing all along. (If you even work with artificial flowers. 😉)
