Chef has officially been named a finalist in the NCRLA Chef Showdown! On September 2, he’ll head to Durham to compete alongside North Carolina’s best chefs, pastry chefs, and mixologists in the 10th Annual Showdown.

Even pros have off days. I’m going to put this bad daddy back together, re-ice and ganache it. $50 (half price). Nothing is wrong with the cake- it just slid. And it’s for/ was for Ashten's Restaurant, and my layers can’t be all jacked up for ASHTENS!!!!!

I was taking my boy to college the day of the photo, but I’m honored to work with such great talent at Ashten’s.

My dessert was a bruleed, Thai tea marinated peach with sticky rice, on top was a crumbled black sesame bark. It was phenomenal.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for Peach Week.
