Fresh local produce from turned into all the goodies. Roasted radishes and carrots will be a side for dinner with a carrot top and mint chimichuri (used olive oil and white balsamic from ). Also made carrot top pesto, fermented dilly carrots and some prepped raw carrots for snacking with hummus. More carrot tops, cucumbers, and rainbow chard as well all for $15!!

What a week!! Between wholesale deliveries and opening day at the .riverfront.market I mixed, shaped, and baked right around 200 loaves and 20+ dozen pastries. I missed my girl helping, but had so much fun having help from my husband and biggest supporter at the market. We sold out in 3 hours with a few cheers from our awesome community!

I hope to see you all there!! It’s such a fun market to kick off the season and it looks like it’s going to be beautiful...

Did you know?
The quality of ingredients I source matter VERY much! Organic, quality ingredients not only taste better, they provide so many more minerals and nutrition than ultra processed and non organic options. Sure, I could use cheap iodized salt, bleached and enriched non-organic flour, and ultra processed butter that lacks flavor and nutrition. Instead I use quality local eggs with bright orange rich yolks. Grass-fed butter. Organic freshly milled grains and flour. Unrefined mineral sea salt. Local honey. Organic sugar. Local and organic herbs and produce when possible. It’s what I prioritize to feed our family, so it’s what I prioritize for my business and to feed our community.
Quality matters. Health matters. YOU guys matter 🫢

Who had the chance to try out the Cheddar Date Scones last year at the farmers market?

!!!Heads up beautiful bread people- I will be out of town and my starter will be napping in the fridge for 5 days. I don’t want to skip a week altogether, but next week bread drops will be FRIDAY instead of the usual Thursday and will be limited to focaccia, cookies, and pastries.
This week is normal (today!) so stock up on an extra classic loaf or sandwich loaf to get you through next weeks limited drop!
