🩷doctor said everything went well, God is good. thank you so much for the prayers and well wishes, now i just have to make sure his stubborn ass stays off his feet and follow doctor’s instructions😊 he has a splint and should avoid walking for 2 weeks.

Hopefully I can reopen again mid September, for the meantime I am sharing recipe videos and brainstorming Fall inspired menu

P.s. - If you can give him an earful text or call later tomorrow about staying of his feet, it will be greatly appreciated. HE NEEDS A SERMON aside from his wife😉

Today is the day of husband’s surgery, i don’t normally post personal stuff here in Cora’s page and it’s an ankle surgery…but i don’t like surgeries …-!: i do believe in prayers and positive energy though🩷 so please send positive vibes and prayers his way🥰.., hopefully this will all be done quick and we will back in Cape… thank you so much.

Italian dinner at home🥰 been craving some mushroom risotto and scallops so i had to make some …what do you think? 😉

- mushroom risotto (i used oyster mushrooms and portabella)
- seared scallops with garlic butter sauce
- made some baguettes and bruschetta topping

A well deserved slow Sunday💜 BIG THANK YOU to everyone who showed up to our last pop-up yesterday and last week,..🥰 we appreciate all of you!

Now im enjoying my homemade thai ground beef, and ofcourse i saved some Smores roll for me and Ube bars to enjoy guilt-free today🤣 (HOW WAS YOUR BREAD/ DESSERTS ORDERS BTW?)

❤️UPDATE…the glass is swept up and things are about back to normal. Thank you to everyone who has reached out! Someone must have needed money more than we did. ❤️

Sorry for the long post, but we could use a little help. ❤️ We will be open!
Unfortunately, someone broke into the store last night by smashing a window and climbing inside. They took the bank bag and the cash from the register, and left quite a mess behind. A huge thank you to the Cape Girardeau Police Department for securing the situation and investigating.

A huge thank you to Lindy at SalonCentric & State Beauty Supply of the Heartland for being awake, and helping us get in touch with our neighbor Kanaan from the room. Hair Design Studio, who came to help with the cleanup. We are so grateful for our amazing neighbors and community. ❤️Mikayla doesn’t know this yet.

We still have more cleaning to do and a window to board up. Sherry and I are leaving at 5:30 AM for a vendor show—we couldn’t cancel without losing even more money.

If anyone has some time to help with cleanup or knows someone who can help us board up the window (we’d prefer plywood rather than glass), please text me, Barb. 573-587-5172. Between 5:30am -9am we won’t be available but will see a text come through when we land.
