Bubby’s Backyard Bar does Halloween this Saturday, 5–8 PM. Bring the kids, bring the haul, grab a table and let them dump the bucket out and start negotiating. Burgers, dogs and cold b**r for whoever did the walking, plus a special visit from Sour Cherries Frozen Yogurt — because clearly there wasn’t enough sugar in play already.

Costumes encouraged. Candy trading permitted. Parental tax strictly enforced.

Her special is a very Fall take on the beloved tomato and schmear, featuring fresh and pickled fuyu persimmon, a layer of schmear and topped with purple shiso and lemon zest.
