First up… come see us at Manatee Softball Opening Day on Saturday, March 7 from 9–2! 🥎 I’ll have fresh sourdough + extra goodies at the pop-up — it’s going to be such a fun day for the girls!

Then we’re pressing pause…

📦 Our last pickup at our current location will be Friday, March 13 as we temporarily close for relocation (just ONE mile away!).

And then…

🎉 GRAND REOPENING: Friday, April 17
First pickup at our new location and we cannot WAIT to welcome you there. We will be doing surprise goodies and giveaways for this!

🥎 Opening Day just got delicious! 🥖

I’m so excited to share that Bode Bread Co. will be set up at Manatee Softball Little League Opening Day on Saturday, March 7th from 9am–2pm at the Manatee Softball Fields!

✨ Because of this, there will be no Friday 3/6 one-time pickups. All one-time preorders will be available for Field Pickup on Saturday instead.

👉 Friday subscription orders will still be fulfilled as usual.

I’ll also have extra loaves + goodies available at the booth (limited quantities — come early for best selection 👏).

Softball season + sourdough season colliding and I couldn’t love it more 🤍🥎

Today I had the honor of visiting Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch with my two youngest girls 🤍

Thanks to you, we were able to donate towels, blankets, supplies, and a check representing a percentage of Q4 sales. Then we stayed awhile… playing with kittens and soaking in the reminder that small acts can make a big difference.

Supporting local nonprofits is one of the most meaningful parts of Bode Bread Co. Thank you for helping us give back, one loaf at a time. 🐶

If you’ve been thinking about joining, this will likely be your last chance for a bit — we don’t anticipate hosting another class for a few months due to our upcoming move.

This class is perfect for anyone who wants to:
• Learn sourdough from the ground up
• Feel confident baking at home
• Ask questions and get hands-on guidance

As we wrap up our very first year of Bode Bread Co., my heart is so full.

What started as a little idea in March turned into something bigger than I ever imagined—because of you.

✨ More than 4,000 sourdough loaves, cookies, bagels, scones & treats
✨ 6 beginner sourdough classes teaching others to bake from the heart
✨ Quarterly donations back into our community:

• Q3: Miss Manatee Softball League
• Q4: Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch

Every order, every kind message, every share, every pickup smile—thank you for supporting this dream and allowing me to give back while doing what I love. This business exists because of your encouragement and trust, and I’m endlessly grateful.

Looking ahead to 2026, we will be moving into our new home this spring, which will mean a short pause in baking while we get the new kitchen up and running. I promise to keep you updated here and via email with any closures—and to get back to baking for you as quickly as possible.
