Some cakes mean a little more than others. šŸ¤

I met Joey during our first month of freshman year at culinary school, and soon after, I was lucky enough to meet his high school sweetheart, Michelle. Theyā€™ve been together since they were 15, and somewhere along the way, I was lucky enough to gain two lifelong friends.

There is something so special about creating a cake for two people whose love story Iā€™ve had the privilege of watching for so many years. From high school sweethearts to husband & wife ā€” it was such an honor to create something sweet for this chapter of their story. šŸ¤

Michelle & Joey, thank you for trusting me with a small part of your big day and for letting me be a part of your story in so many different ways.

From competing in commercial baking competitions in high school, to earning my Baking & Pastry degree from Johnson & Wales, working in Forbes-rated restaurants, Walt Disney World, helping develop pastry programs, earning my MBA, and eventually turning this dream into my full-time careerā€¦ itā€™s been a journey Iā€™m incredibly grateful for.
