We are the longest family run Donut Shop/bakery operating in Salem over 61 years! Ziggy was our dad! Making donuts the old fashioned way by hand!

Family owned and run donut shop in the heart of Salem. Located at the corner of Essex St and Webb St. We offer the only hand cut donuts made fresh every morning! We also offer a selection of muffins, apple and raspberry turnovers, bagels, croissants, apple dumplings and other pastries daily. We also have daily specials including our famous whoopie pies (on wednesdays!)

Need a cake for a birthday, baptism, graduation or special occasion? We make those too! We use regular frosting and no buttercream or fondant. Decoration are hand drawn. We make 6", 8", 9", 10" round as well as half and full sheet! We do traditional white, chocolate or marble.

PUMPKIN has invaded Ziggys today! Pumpkin spice is today’s hot flavor of the day. We have pumpkin whoopie pies with cream cheese frosting and pumpkin donuts rolled in cinnamon and sugar. We also have apple cinnamon nugget donuts rolled in cinnamon and sugar, chocolate whoopie pies, apple or raspberry turnovers, blueberry or chocolate chip muffins, coffee rolls, strudels and much more. Our iced coffee is reasonably priced and we brew flavored New England Coffees and cool it, no high fructose corn syrup flavor shots! Look for us on grub hub and call ahead for easy pick up. ZIGGYS IN SALEM IS NOT CLOSING, WE ARE OPEN! Patricia Rutkowski who manages the donut shop in Salem for her brother John and sister-in-law Pattie Akatyszewski (owners) did not retire. Pattie Akatyszewski retired from the Peabody location and closed up shop on Bourbon Street, but John will continue to make his famous hand-cut donuts as usual in Salem. As always, nothing has changed. We remain peanut and tree
