These hand rolled Italian cookies filled with cinnamon, sugar and walnuts are like nothing you’ve ever tasted before! The rolled technique keeps the cookie center soft and moist while the outer shell turns to a flaky golden brown. Good with coffee for breakfast, as dessert to share with your family and friends or simply to satisfy an afternoon sweet tooth. Three things. Ice cream in a glass, a hot shot of espresso poured over it, cookies to scoop.

It is called affogato. You eat it immediately, while the top is melting and the bottom is still cold.

Or, if you don't have an espresso machine, our Double Chocolate Espresso brings its own hints of espresso and indulgent chocolate. Crumble one over vanilla ice cream and you get most of the way there.
