Belding's time to shine is almost here! I will be set up at the Belding Labor Day Celebration Vendor Marketplace this Saturday AND Sunday from 12pm-6pm. 🗺 Bakery/Farmstand Map Update:

I'm trying to stick to locations within the map area shown (immediate Belding area). These will be the locations shown on the map and main directory.

However, since I've had so many responses from out of the map area, I will be including a list of stands by city that includes a page link, offerings list and how to order/shop where given. I'm just one gal, so I will need to stick to the neighboring towns of Belding for that too.

The reason I'm sticking with Belding is because I see a need for this community resource here. I talk to so many people in our town that are looking for local food products but have no idea where to find them. This map is for them so they can support local, wholesome food producers in our own neighborhood, without having to plan a road trip.

Both Montcalm and Kent Counties have their own Farmstand Trail Maps. They are great resources for small stands to sign up with for more visibility. There is also a MI Farmstand Group that is trying to start a statewide map using county hashtags. I suggest all my fellow farmstands sign up there also for added support and visibility.

👋 ATTN: Belding Bakers and Farm Stands!

As farmers market season comes to a close, I would like to make a map highlighting all of our amazing year-round small bakery and farm stand resources right here in Belding.

I'm looking for home bakers with stands or weekly ordering options, licensed bakers without a storefront, veggie and flower stands and any other lil local gems that could use a light shined on it 🫶

🍂 Fall is coming! And for me, that means Fall cleaning, decorating (my fave!) and then filling the house with the smells of roast chicken and baked goodies.
