Today marks ONE YEAR since I sold my very first baked good.

It wasn’t cupcakes.
It wasn’t a decorated cake.
It was hotdog buns… to Kathy. 🥹

And I remember how nervous and excited I was. I didn’t know where this little dream would go, but I knew God had placed it on my heart.

This past year hasn’t looked how I imagined. There have been pauses. Hard seasons. Financial struggles. Quiet moments.

But if I’m being honest… I miss it.
I miss the flour on my counters.
I miss the late-night baking.
I miss the messages from customers.
I miss seeing the smiles when someone picked up their order.
I miss the little community we were building together.

Kayla’s Home Bakery was never just about sweets. It was about creating something warm, welcoming, and filled with love. A place where people felt cared for. A space that reflected my faith, my passion, and my heart.

Even though things have been quiet… the dream isn’t dead.
God isn’t finished.
And neither am I. 🤍

Thank you to everyone who supported me from that very first batch of hotdog buns to every cupcake, cookie, and cinnamon roll after. Your support meant more than you know.

Here’s to one year since the beginning… and to whatever God has planned next. 💕

Hello, sweet friends

I wanted to reconnect and let you all know that I haven’t given up on Kayla’s Home Bakery. Life brought some challenges our way, and we had to pause for a bit, but by God’s grace, we’re getting back on track and working behind the scenes to make our treats and bakery even better!

I truly miss baking for all of you and seeing those smiling faces when you receive your orders or share our treats. Baking has always been a safe haven for me—a place where I feel comfortable, confident, and close to God. I can’t wait to get back to it!

As we move forward, I have been excited, working to make our goodies healthier and guilt-free, using pure, organic ingredients that God intended for us as well as planning when and how to open the porch bakery. I miss the community we’ve built and can’t wait to welcome you all back. When I open my porch bakery, I hope it too can become a place of comfort, confidence, Gods presence and love and where you can joy every bite💗

💌 Important Update 💌

Kayla’s Home Bakery will be temporarily closed for the time being😩 (besides the two orders, I already have scheduled.) I will be sure to update you as soon as possible. In the meantime, I will be updating so many things🎉
