Another market is in the books!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Ampis table last night — whether you came specifically looking for something, grabbed a treat while wandering the market, stopped to chat, brought a friend, or simply said hello.

It all means more than you know.

Small businesses don't get to do what we do without the people who choose to show up and support them.

Every purchase, every share, every recommendation, every returning customer, and every “I saw your post!” helps keep Ampis moving forward.

And honestly?

Getting to bake things I love and then hand them to people who are excited to take them home is pretty darn special. 🥹❤️

✨ LET'S TALK ABOUT ONE OF MY FAVORITES. ✨

There's always that one thing that makes it onto the table and I immediately think…

“Yep. I would eat that.” 😂

One of those favorites will be making its way to Live Oak this Saturday, and if you've had it before, you already know why it keeps coming back.

Shokupan - Japanese Milk Bread
We LOVE making Sandos with it! - Layers of homemade whipped cream w/some cream cheese layered with fresh fruit. One loaf lasts all but a singular day when these hit our weekly menu for the house.

It's one of those treats that is just as good for taking home and enjoying later as it is for eating approximately 4 minutes after you buy it. 😉

I'll have these and plenty of other Ampis favorites with me Saturday night!

🥖 WHAT YOU SEE: THE MARKET TABLE.

🔥 WHAT YOU DON'T SEE: THE ABSOLUTE CHAOS THAT HAPPENS BEFORE IT GETS THERE. 😂

Market week at Ampis means dough, flour, timers, mixing bowls, oven space, packaging, lists, more lists… and me repeatedly asking myself, “Okay, what am I forgetting?”

And somehow, by Saturday, it all comes together.

This week we're getting everything ready for the Live Oak Makers Market, and I can't wait to fill that table up again!

There is just something special about taking something that started as flour, water, salt, and a whole lot of time and putting it into the hands of someone who is excited to take it home. ❤️
