So, I stopped taking orders last March in anticipation of my retirement from cake making. It is, now, almost November and I will have my last 2 weddings, left on the schedule, done in a couple of weeks. It took 9 months to wind this business down! I appreciate all of my loyal customers. It has been a pleasure working with you. I have made wedding cakes for customers and then their baby shower cakes, their baby's first birthday cakes, then that same baby's birthday cakes through to their graduation and then the baby's wedding and then it comes full circle again. It has been a long run. Many of you have been with me through all of my retirements and returns! LOL As I am getting up in years, I do believe this will be the last retirement! I will make my last wedding cake, as Lisa's Creative Cakes, on November 7. I am looking forward to my daughter's wedding next May. I will post picks! I will also be doing a couple of wedding cakes for some family and friends next year. I am looking forward to a rest from the cake making career. It has been a passion for a long time. I thought I would post a few of my last wedding cakes!
