Jared got his first egg today. It was still hot, and just laid. I took it straight in and warmed a pan with olive oil and scrambled ever so strategically. All to make the most delicious and nutritious mid-day snack you could ever ask for, for my husband!

I say this because loving your husband doesn’t have to be big extravagant gifts, or events, it just has to be with love and humbleness. God blessed our farm with an egg, and I was able to gift it to my husband. Just a simple blessing to some, but for us it is HUGE!

We are just starting this homestead. And moving very slowly, but we are really able to “stop and smell the roses”. And we give all the praises to Jesus because caring over His creations, has been the most humbling and rewarding things we have experienced. In this season, we have really been trusting God, and He has blessed us so much even though we seem to fail repeatedly.

If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, please talk to someone about how He saves people’s lives.
