I wanted to do a highlight for my favorite banneton:

I started out using traditional brotforms but when created these bannetons, I knew I had to try them. I haven’t looked back since.

And this is not a paid ad or partnership, I just truly love the quality of these bannetons and love how it elevates my loaves. They are extremely easy to clean, stack easily in my cabinet, and wicker away that additional moisture beautifully.

Sourdough Vanilla Custard & Chocolate Chip Buns

I’ve been perusing numerous recipes on the interwebs here for these buns but most I’ve found use solely commercial yeast.

So I took my own stab at making my own recipe, only using sourdough starter to leaven the dough, and I think they came out great!

These honestly were a joy to make ☺️

Classic 🌾

flour only.
Mixed in Halo Pro.
Cold Proofed for 15hrs in bannetons.
Baked in 28, 7 1/4qt, Dutch Oven.

Finally the bagels I’ve been searching for 🤌

Over the past year and a half I have been testing and tweaking multiple bagel recipes but ‘s bagel recipe is the winner hands down. 🥇 So if you are looking for a bagel recipe, look no further and go thank her.

I do not own turbinado sugar so I used what I had on hand, granulated sugar, and it worked beautifully.

Bless Florida’s warmer weather this past few days bc I proofed the dough & shaped bagels outside on my lanai (calm your cookies, it’s enclosed and I covered them lolz).
