When my customer reached out to order a going-away cookie set for their friend, they didn’t give me a theme, they gave me pieces of her story.

A caramel macchiato. ☕️
The beach and Hawaii. 🌊🌺
Music. 🎶
Tacos. 🌮
Her favorite Bible verse. ✨

My job? Somehow blend all of those things into one cohesive, feminine, elegant set that would remind her how loved she is.

What most people don’t see is the design process behind custom cookies: hours spent gathering inspiration, saving screenshots, building mockups in Canva, researching details, and figuring out how to make every element feel like it belongs together.
Because custom cookies aren’t just desserts…they’re a way to tell someone’s story.
And this set was all about celebrating a friend who will be deeply missed.

This week has been a full one, in the best way. 🤍

Alongside my regular orders, I had the opportunity to create 200 individually boxed “Paint Your Own” cookie kits for DPR Construction’s Family Day event and all the kiddos in attendance. It definitely meant a few late (okay… very late 😅) nights, but I’m so grateful for every opportunity and the chance to be part of such special events.

Happy Friday! I’m taking a day or two to reset before jumping into prep for the Taylor Swift event at The Studio in Apex on the 25th!… and I cannot wait to show you what I’ve been working on!

Now we’re 40… and still got it!

This one hits a little different for me because I just joined the 40 club too! There’s something special about this milestone, more confidence, more peace, and a whole lot less worrying about things that don’t matter.

So of course I had to go all out for this 40th birthday set inspired by my customer and her birthday theme and decor.
