Good evening Cardinal friends!

First and most important…we have had many Cardinal friends/followers/customers share with us about either a family member, themselves or a friend that has been in the hospital with very bad news, or ill and they do not know why. We would like to ask for prayers or good vibes (whichever you believe) for these families. It truly breaks our hearts to hear of all this sickness. To those families, remember WE are here if you need us! Please do not hesitate to reach out. If it’s help around your home, a ride to the hospital or even a special pick me up basket of goodies. We fly together! ❤️

Second, tomorrow is a bitter sweet day for me! After having my port that leads to my heart for more than 3 years I finally will be having it removed! I have been able to change my lifestyle habits with better eating, less meds, and more hydration and therefore I no longer need it! With that said, I doubt I’ll be able to bake much tomorrow except some cookies, more Cardinal crumbs cinnamon rolls and sourdough preorders (fermenting now) There are still items in the cottage and it will be open normal hours!

Third, we had the privilege of preparing and presenting a few birthday baskets to a Cardinal friend that has been with us since DAY 1. They are very special to our hearts! 🥰 (yes, we now offer baskets presented in one of our own used Longaberger baskets to keep our theme alive! )
We do not offer singing with delivery hehe 😜

Good morning Cardinal friends!

The cottage is open and there are only TWO lemon bar packages available. I was able to find packing for three slices banana bread per pack. We have one full loaf available and everything I called out yesterday evening is still available!

I have three preorders for sourdough bread pickup date to be Friday. If anyone would like to pre order sourdough or non sourdough today is the day to order. 😊

I have met some very nice new Cardinal friends over the past few days most of which was their first visit! We thank you for your support! ❤️

I would like to shout out one very special little girl who always writes “I love you” in our communication book! I see your messages sweety! You make me smile when I read them! The cookie drawing was very good as well!

have all landed in the cottage!

Lemon bars are still cooling and will be in there tomorrow at open!

Hello Cardinal friends!

We had a traumatic incident that took Amanda away for the day to help with family. I took the grandbabies to help her out today! I was unable to bake or post as it has been very busy with twin 5 year old boys lol. I will be back to baking a pre order pick up tomorrow and another special order we will be working on tomorrow! Also filling up the cottage again with carrot cake slices, pineapple upside down cakes, Cardinal crumbs (cinnamon roll pieces), lemon bars and more!

Please send good vibes and prayers to two special members of our family as they recover! Thank you for supporting our small business! We appreciate you all! ♥️

Today our market in Fort Wayne, IN got rained out. We baked all weekend, but had to turn away with full bakery bins.

Packing the car for our market in Ft Wayne! The cottage will be open, there is not a lot in there but still have some goodies available for you!

We just want to say AGAIN how we have the BEST Cardinal friends/followers/customers that anyone can have in their nest! I woke up this morning with tags, mentions, messages, pre orders and more! We are truly honored to have you all in our nest and want to say THANK YOU! You are appreciated more than you know! ❤️

Good evening Cardinal friends!
I know it’s late, I’m just finishing up for our market at The Deck in Ft Wayne tomorrow! This is where our other half lives so we are trying to spread our word farther 😊 and it’s a GREAT place to chill by the river with family and friends! There will be other vendors there as well!

You just about sold us out today! Thank you for your support. We appreciate you all! I’m posting pictures of what is left for tomorrow. There are a couple products I just marked 1/2 off.

If we do not sell out (there is a chance of rain) I will post when I get home what I put in the cottage.

I have a few sourdough pre orders going out Tuesday afternoon so if you want on the list just let me know! (Keep in mind I’m having my port removed Wednesday so I will not be able to stock it the cottage that day)
