Our staff here at Cops & Doughnuts - Alpena got into a pretty heated discussion this morning during setup. We were stocking up those authentic, thick, chewy New York Bagels we get in fresh, and the crew couldn't agree on the absolute best way to eat 'em.

Some say you can't beat a simple, heavy spread of classic cream cheese on a toasted Everything bagel. But then the breakfast crowd argued that a straight-up plain bagel, extra toasted with just a thick layer of real butter, is the true standard. Good morning! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend.
We’re officially back at it here at Cops & Doughnuts - Alpena, though I have to be honest—things started a little "off" today! If you stopped by around 6:45 AM and found the doors locked, I am so sorry about that. We ran into an epic plumbing issue that required some immediate attention.
Turns out, when the gooseneck falls off the bottom of the sink and you’ve just poured a big bucket of water into it... well, let’s just say it’s not exactly the start to the morning you hope for! But don't worry, the mess is cleaned up, the lights are on, and the open sign is officially lit.
If you’re heading back to work today, you definitely deserve a treat—Lord knows after my morning plumbing adventure, I needed a doughnut, too! Come by and grab a box; we’re ready to get your week back on track.
