Vintage & Made Fair recap! 🎃 Year 3 of a total sell out! And I didn't get enough pictures 😂

So grateful for everyone that stopped by the booth! New friends, old friends, people that came just to find buy my bread!

My heart was full and now I hope your bellies are! 😁

It was a great bake day!!! I've been working on a few small adjustments to my bread, a new shaping method, longer fridge ferment, and slowly increasing my whole grains! Let me know what you think of my classic loaves this week and if you notice the difference! This one had a beautiful crumb.

Hi I'm Katie! I've been running my Sourdough bakery in Adel for over 4 years! I focus on organic sourdough, made with local stone-ground wheat!

My orders for this week are open! Pickup is Friday 9/11 in Adel!

✨ If you're looking for recommendations on where to start, my Sourdough Pizzas are my best seller, and my personal favorite this week is Cinnamon Raisin Rye Sourdough. It's perfect toasted and topped with butter!

Kicked off September with 🎃 Pumpkin Spice Sourdough!! I tweaked my recipe just slightly and let me say... It's better than ever! I'm also offering an artisan version if the pumpkin shape isn't for you!

Top with butter, maybe a little cinnamon and honey... Yum!!

ThIs will be on the menu biweekly throughout the fall/Christmas season!

Thanks for another opportunity to bake for your homes!

I love my job!! It's tiring, challenging but equally peaceful and fulfilling! Thank you everyone for your orders this week! 4 years doing this while raising my 4 kids and part-time homeschooling. I'm so grateful for my customers!! And grateful for being smart this year and hiring help 🙏

There's a village behind this bread, and there's so much love and care that goes into bake day!

I've tried a lot of ways to store sourdough and this is by far my favorite! I find it keeps the loaf fresh for several days while still keeping some integrity of the crust. And I love that I can still see the bread and enjoy its beauty 😁

It also is much easier than a bread bag because I can just lift the lid and slice! There's no need to pull out a separate kitchen item! And convenience is necessary when you're a busy mom.
