The brief was tropical and lush. While not all the flowers featured are technically tropical by nature, we’re sure there’s a greenhouse or garden out there that can house all these flowers. It does make for a stunning bouquet for plant lovers though. (We’re especially happy with the chrysanthemums here)

When we normally think of flowers, we usually think vivid and bright blooms showered by sunlight. These flowers are not that. They’re roses that grow in spite of grey and rainy days like this. They’re beautiful and melancholic with just a touch of dramatic flair.

This cake reminds me of a poem by the Flower Fairies illustrator, Cicely Mary Barker called Spring Goes, Summer Comes

This was a fun and really unique take on vintage wedding cake. The vibe was whimsy woods so we incorporated Lambeth piping in this rich dark green and accompanied it with various floral decorations to minic the foliage found in forests. And as a special request, we were asked to sculpt a cat and a bunny out of buttercream in place of toppers. 🐰🐱💐
